Stan Singh
Senior Vice President

Mr. Stan Singh is the Senior Vice President of MUI dotCom Sdn Bhd, a member of The MUI Group of companies. He is the Head of IT and is responsible for The Group’s IT Services, globally. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from UK and he has attended various series of Management Strategic courses over the last 20 years. He has 27 years experience in IT Management, and 19 years in business at the operations and management levels. His business exposure spans a variety of industries, including Hotel & Properties, Retail & Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Finance. In the IT industry, Mr. Singh’s experience covers a broad area: from System Integration & Application Design to Developing Application Specifications, Programming, Project Management, Systems Installation & Implementation, User & Corporate Training and IT Consultation on Security Measures. Mr. Singh also has valuable experience as a global business manager, having worked in many countries including the UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and of course, Malaysia. Currently he is also a member of British Institute of Management and a councilor member of PIKOM (Persatuan Industri Komputer dan Multimedia Malaysia - Association of the Computer and Multimedia Industry of Malaysia). He is also the current chairman of the Membership Committee, PS3 (PIKOM Software & Services Showcase) and holds the position of Co-Chair of the CIO Club. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Singh has spoken in a number of Conferences and Business Seminars in the following areas, namely; Supply Chain Management, IT Corporate Performance Measures, IT Security, Challenges in Implementing Business Continuity at Enterprise Level, Knowledge Management and has participated in a number of IT and Business panel discussions.

Greg Schmidt is Regional Technical Sales Manager, Security and Mobile Connectivity, Enterprise Solutions, Nokia in Asia Pacific and based in Singapore. In his role, Greg works with a team of sales engineers to support the technical needs of customers and channel partners around the region. His portfolio spans 14 countries throughout Asia Pacific including China and Japan. Greg brings with him more than 17 years of experience in the IT industry. He started his career working in voice, networking, applications, security, and data communications. Greg has worked for a number of Corporations (MCI, Microsoft, ANZ Bank) in Senior Design and Architecture Roles as well as Project and Program Management. His client list includes BP, NAB, Sony, Zurich, and Cambridge University. Greg’s work and living experience spans several continents including North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Greg has been working with Nokia since January 2006. Prior to moving to Singapore this year, Greg was Southern Region Manager, Security and Mobile Connectivity, Enterprise Solutions, Nokia, based in Australia. Greg is a frequent expert speaker at various industry events. He closely follows the standards development and work in the fields of networking and network security. He is an avid runner and has completed several marathons. |

Ong Ai Lin is currently a Senior Executive Director in the Systems and Process Assurance Advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia. She has a BA (Hons) from the University of Leeds and is a member of the Institute of Charted Accountants of England and Wales. She is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). She has over 20 years experience in providing IT Effectiveness, Information Security and Business Continuity Management services to government agencies, regulatory bodies and companies in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia. The breadth of her industry coverage includes providing advisory services for financial institutions, telecommunication and broadcasting service providers, pharmaceutical companies, oil and gas industries and transportation service providers.

Greg Bunt

Greg is Juniper’s APAC Systems Engineering Manager for Emerging Technologies, responsible for ensuring the adoption and technical assimilation of newly acquired technology into the APAC theatre. The charter of the Emerging Technology team is to pioneer these technology solutions in the region by educating the market about their advantages, designing leading solutions, collating feature requests from the market for the product engineers and generally ensuring Juniper continues to have the best and most innovative networking products in the industry. Greg has a long history in security and infrastructure engineering at Juniper. Prior to his current role, Greg was Juniper’s Lead Systems Engineer for Security Products in Australia and New Zealand. Greg joined Juniper Networks by way of NetScreen, when the latter was acquired in 2004. He was NetScreen’s first Systems Engineer in South Asia covering all ASEAN countries and Australia / New Zealand. He helped build the regional channel and technical sales business, provided technical training for new Systems Engineers in the region and was the regional expert on 3G/GPRS firewall technology.

Bill Ting

Mr. Ting, in his role as a director of technology and product marketing for Secure Computing Corp. Asia Pacific, consults and provides customers with a wide range of solutions involving networking, security, and business applications. He is a frequently sought after speaker within the Asia Pacific region and often speaks on the trends of emerging technologies and their integration within business applications. Mr. Ting’s career spans 18 years in the networking and communications industries where he has performed various functions and held senior management positions in Engineering, Technical Marketing, and Sales Operation in the United States, Asia Pacific, and China. Prior to joining CipherTrust, Bill functioned as Director of Strategic Marketing for UTStarcom, Inc., where he was responsible for company’s product solution marketing and Techcom publications. In addition he was instrumental in developing new business and serving key accounts in the international market arena. Bill served seven years at SynOptics Communications/Bay Networks, where he played a key role from 1991 to 1997 in the start-up of company’s Asia Pacific sales operations, leading Product Marketing and System Engineering functions. Subsequent to Bay Networks, Bill spent four years at Ascend Communications (later acquired by Lucent Technologies), where he was responsible for ISP and Telco business development in the APAC region. Bill holds a Master of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology at Pasadena, California and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Iowa State University.
